A Disney World map is the fastest way to make sense of a vacation destination that covers more than 25,000 acres: start with the resort-area map to see how the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs and the resorts fit together, then use each park's map for that day. Every map here is free and most have a printable PDF, and once you arrive, the My Disney Experience app has the live map and paper maps are free at the park entrances.

Lisa and I are former Walt Disney World cast members with 16+ years of planning Disney vacations, and these are the maps we use with our own clients, with notes on what's changed for 2026.

What's Changed on Disney World's Maps in 2026

The park layouts haven't changed, but several labels on older printed maps, including the 2023 park guide maps on this page, now point to rides and lands that have closed or been reimagined:

  • Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain is now Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat closed in July 2025 for Piston Peak National Park, a Cars-themed area (Disney Parks Blog; no opening date yet). Big Thunder Mountain reopened in May 2026; Carousel of Progress closed July 6, 2026 for a reimagining expected back in 2027; Tiana's Bayou Adventure closes for refurbishment November 2, 2026 until December 2026.
  • EPCOT: the nighttime show is now Luminous The Symphony of Us, not "Harmonious." Test Track reopened reimagined in July 2025, and Soarin' Across America debuted May 26, 2026 (Disney Parks Blog) as a limited-time film.
  • Hollywood Studios: MuppetVision 3D closed in June 2025 and Grand Avenue is becoming Monstropolis (opening in phases from 2027). Rock 'n' Roller Coaster now stars the Muppets instead of Aerosmith (May 26, 2026), and Animation Courtyard has been reimagined, with The Magic of Disney Animation opening September 14, 2026 (Disney Parks Blog).
  • Animal Kingdom: DinoLand U.S.A. closed February 2, 2026 for Tropical Americas, opening in 2027 (Disney Parks Blog). It's Tough to Be a Bug is now Zootopia: Better Zoogether! (since November 7, 2025), and Bluey's Wild World opened May 26, 2026 at Conservation Station, formerly labeled Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
  • Water parks: Typhoon Lagoon closed for seasonal refurbishment September 9, 2026; Blizzard Beach is operating this fall.

Walt Disney World Resort Map (the Whole Property)

Disney World MapStudy this resort-area map first. It shows all four theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs, ESPN Wide World of Sports, the golf courses, and the Disney Resort hotels numbered by resort area.

Here is a Printable Walt Disney World Resort Map

The artwork isn't to scale (Magic Kingdom is farther from the other parks than it looks), and it predates Disney's Riviera Resort on the Skyliner. Comparing hotels? Our Disney World hotels guide walks through each resort area.

Disney World Transportation Map

Disney doesn't print one map with every bus, boat, monorail and gondola route, so use the Skyliner map below plus this resort-by-resort chart. Resort guests get complimentary transportation that starts 45 minutes before park opening and runs until 1 hour after closing, and the My Disney Experience app's "Get Directions" feature shows each route. The Resort Monorail loops Magic Kingdom, the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and three resorts, with a separate monorail from the TTC to EPCOT (see our Disney monorail hotels guide). Boats cover Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake, Crescent Lake and the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs (Disney water transportation), and buses serve every resort, park and Disney Springs.

Disney World Map by Transportation: Which Resorts Have Monorail, Skyliner, Boat or Walking Access?

Only three resorts are on the monorail (Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Polynesian), four are on the Skyliner (Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Art of Animation), and the Yacht Club, Beach Club and BoardWalk are within walking distance of EPCOT. Every other resort relies on buses, some with a boat to Magic Kingdom or Disney Springs.

Compiled from Disney's transportation pages, the Disney Springs guide map and Undercover Tourist. Confirm routes in the app before you go.

Pixie Tip: When clients ask which resort to book, we start with this chart, not the room photos. Lots of Magic Kingdom days? Look at monorail and boat resorts. Focused on EPCOT and Hollywood Studios? A Skyliner or walk-to-EPCOT resort often wins. Our Disney hotel benefits guide covers the other perks.

Disney World Skyliner Map

Disney World Skyliner Map

The Skyliner has five stations: EPCOT's International Gateway, Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Hollywood Studios, and a shared Pop Century/Art of Animation station. Caribbean Beach is the hub, so depending on your park you may change gondolas there. The Skyliner can pause for storms and maintenance (Disney has announced a closure January 24–30, 2027), with buses as backup.

Magic Kingdom Map

Disney World Magic Kingdom Map

The Magic Kingdom map is laid out like a wheel: Main Street, U.S.A. leads from the entrance to Cinderella Castle and the central Hub, and five more lands branch off it, clockwise from the left, Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. This guide map is from 2023, so use the notes below for what's operating now.

Magic Kingdom Lands and Top Rides by Land (2026)

See our rankings of the best Magic Kingdom rides, Magic Kingdom rides you shouldn’t miss, what changed at Big Thunder Mountain, and our Magic Kingdom food guide.

Where to Watch the Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Happily Ever After is Magic Kingdom's fireworks show. The most popular views are from the Hub and Main Street, U.S.A., facing Cinderella Castle (the castle projections are part of the show), with Liberty Square another favorite. The Disney Starlight nighttime parade also runs most nights, so check our Disney fireworks times before you claim a spot.

First-Timer Route: How to Use the Magic Kingdom Map on Day One

Most first-timers walk up Main Street and get pulled into Fantasyland. Instead, work one side of the wheel at a time: Adventureland and Frontierland in the morning, lunch in Liberty Square, Fantasyland in the afternoon, and Tomorrowland in the evening, when Space Mountain and the PeopleMover glow. Our rope drop guide and Magic Kingdom Lightning Lane Multi Pass guide help you plan the first hours.

Pixie Tip: Circle a meeting spot on your Magic Kingdom map before you enter in case your group splits up or a phone dies, and use our Disney World crowd calendar to pick your Magic Kingdom day.

EPCOT Map

Epcot Map

Printable EPCOT Map (PDF)

EPCOT has celebrated our global community and future technologies since 1982. The map has four neighborhoods: World Celebration (Spaceship Earth), World Discovery (Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Test Track), World Nature (Soarin') and World Showcase, where Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure sit among the 11 pavilions in our guide to the countries in EPCOT. See our EPCOT rides ranked and best places to eat at EPCOT.

Pixie Tip: EPCOT has two entrances. The International Gateway, between the United Kingdom and France, is where the Skyliner arrives and where BoardWalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club guests walk in, so if you're hopping from Hollywood Studios, start in World Showcase.

Animal Kingdom Map

Animal Kingdom Map

Rock your wild side at Animal Kingdom! The Tree of Life on Discovery Island is the park's hub, with Pandora – The World of Avatar (Avatar Flight of Passage, Na'vi River Journey), Africa (Kilimanjaro Safaris, Festival of the Lion King) and Asia (Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids) around it. Two big changes aren't on this 2023 map: DinoLand U.S.A. on the right side of the map is closed and becoming Tropical Americas, and the Wildlife Express Train from Africa now takes you to Conservation Station and Bluey's Wild World. Read our Animal Kingdom 2026 guide, best Animal Kingdom rides and dining picks.

Disney Hollywood Studios Map

Disney Hollywood Studios Map

Experience old-school Hollywood and all your favorite Disney characters at Hollywood Studios. Hollywood Boulevard leads to the park's center, with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run) and Toy Story Land (Slinky Dog Dash) toward the back and Sunset Boulevard (The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster) to the right. On this 2023 map, Grand Avenue is now a construction zone for Monstropolis, and the Animation Courtyard label is outdated. See Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, our best Hollywood Studios rides and restaurant picks.

Disney Springs Map

Disney Springs Map

Whether you are looking for shopping, dining, or entertainment, there is a little something for everyone at Disney Springs. The map runs along the Lake Buena Vista waterfront from the West Side (House of Blues, the AMC theater, Cirque du Soleil's Drawn to Life) through The Landing and Town Center to the Marketplace (World of Disney, the LEGO Store). It also marks the parking garages, resort bus stops, and the bridge and boat dock to Saratoga Springs. Plan a meal with our Disney Springs restaurant guide, don't miss Gideon’s Bakehouse, and see more things to do without park tickets.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Map

ESPN Wide World of Sports Map

This area is home to many sports activities, including youth tournaments, cheer and dance competitions and runDisney race-weekend events, and it hosted the NBA's 2020 season restart. The map is most useful for families with an athlete competing, since it labels each stadium, field and arena. It's near Pop Century and Art of Animation, about 1.4 miles from Hollywood Studios.

Typhoon Lagoon & Blizzard Beach Water Parks Map

Blizzard Beach Water Park map

Disney World has two water parks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. They are great ways to spend your vacation if you want a little time away from the parks. The map shown here is Blizzard Beach, near Animal Kingdom, with Summit Plummet, Teamboat Springs and the chairlift up Mount Gushmore; the printable file below includes Typhoon Lagoon, which sits next to Disney Springs. Disney often closes one water park for refurbishment during the cooler months, so check which one is open before you plan a water park day.

How Far Apart Are the Disney World Parks?

EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are within about 1 to 3 miles of each other in a straight line, while Magic Kingdom sits about 4 miles north of all three. Roads are longer than straight lines, so budget extra time for park hopping.

Between Straight-line distance How to get there
Magic Kingdom ↔ EPCOT about 3.8 miles Monorail, changing trains at the Transportation and Ticket Center
Magic Kingdom ↔ Hollywood Studios about 4.4 miles Disney bus
Magic Kingdom ↔ Animal Kingdom about 4.2 miles Disney bus

Note: the resort maps below are Disney's older printed maps. Layouts, pools and bus stops are still accurate, but some show Disney's Magical Express stops (that airport shuttle ended in 2022; see how to get from Orlando airport to Disney World) or old names like Downtown Disney.

Here is the printable version of the Pop Century Resort Map

Pixie Tip: Check your resort map before requesting a room location. At the big value and moderate resorts, a far building can mean a long walk every morning and night. Requests aren't guaranteed, but we make them specific for our clients, like close to the bus stop, pool or Skyliner.

Moderate Resort Maps

Moderate Resorts are a medium-tier hotel that has different amenities and dining options than value resorts. The Disney World Moderate Resorts are Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans – Riverside, and Port Orleans – French Quarter, and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground rounds out this section with its campsites and cabins.

Coronado Springs Map

Coronado Springs Map

Coronado Springs wraps around Lago Dorado, with the Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas sections spread around the lake. It's served by Disney buses. This map predates Gran Destino Tower, the newer high-rise topped by the rooftop restaurant Toledo.

Fort Wilderness Campground Map

Find your loop number on the map before you arrive, and ignore the old "Disney-MGM Studios" and "Downtown Disney" directions printed on it.

Yacht & Beach Club Map

Yacht & Beach Club Map

The Yacht Club and Beach Club sit side by side on Crescent Lake and share Stormalong Bay, the sand-bottom pool in the middle of the map. Trying to choose between them? Read our Beach Club vs. Yacht Club comparison.

Where Can I Get a Paper Map at Disney World?

Free paper guide maps are still available as you enter each Disney World theme park. Disney has cut many printed items, but park maps survived, and Disney's planDisney panel says there's no official word on eliminating them. Missed them? Ask at Guest Relations.

Is There a Map in the My Disney Experience App?

Yes. The My Disney Experience app has an interactive map for every park, Disney Springs and the resorts, and it's the most up-to-date map you can use. It shows your location, wait times, show times and mobile order spots, and "Get Directions" plans routes by bus, monorail, boat or walking. Our 2026 Disney World planning guide and Disney countdown kit show when to set it up.

Pixie Tip: Save a screenshot of each park map before you go. A saved image works even when the app is slow to load, and it saves battery. Add a portable charger to your Disney World packing list too.

Can You Get Disney World Maps Mailed to You?

No. Disney doesn't mail park maps; a Disney planning panelist confirmed that physical maps are only available at Walt Disney World Resort. Print the PDF maps on this page instead, or use the My Disney Experience app.
