What is the Disney+ subscriber discount at Disney World?
It is a package offer for guests enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program. Buy a qualifying 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package at a Disney Resort hotel and you save up to 25% on the resort portion, and Disney adds the Park Hopper option at no extra charge. Proof of an eligible Disney+ subscription is required at booking, and the number of packages is limited.
According to The DIS (WDWInfo), which reported the offer when Disney announced it on June 24, 2026, the Disney+ package is valid for stays during four windows:
- September 25 – October 8, 2026
- October 19 – October 31, 2026
- November 15 – November 28, 2026
- December 13 – December 24, 2026
Only one person in your travel party needs the Disney+ subscription. That detail matters more than people realize — it is why the math below works out the way it does.
How the Disney World discounts compare right now
Four offers are live for fall and holiday 2026 travel. They are not stackable, so you get exactly one. Here is how they line up:

Is the Disney+ discount worth it for your family?
Yes, if you are not a Passholder or a Florida resident
This is the common case. A Disney+ subscription costs a few dollars a month, and one subscription covers the whole travel party. Against a 20% general-public room discount, the Disney+ package gives you an extra 5 percentage points on the room plus the Park Hopper option, which normally carries a per-ticket upcharge. On a family of four buying four days of tickets, that Park Hopper add-on alone is usually worth more than a year of Disney+.
Example, using round numbers: on a $2,400 room subtotal, 20% saves $480 and 25% saves $600. That $120 gap, plus a Park Hopper add-on worth roughly $80–$100 per ticket for a 4-day stay, is the whole argument. Your real numbers depend on your resort and dates, which is exactly what we price for you.
Probably not, if you hold an Annual Pass
The Passholder rate goes to 30% and runs the full October 4 – December 24 window with no package requirement. If you already have a pass, start there. The one exception is if Passholder inventory has sold out at the resort you want — that happens most often at the Deluxe resorts over Thanksgiving and the first two weeks of December.
Run the numbers both ways, if you are a Florida resident
The Florida resident rate is also up to 25%, but it does not include the free Park Hopper and it only covers three date windows. If your dates fall inside a Florida resident window and you want Park Hopper anyway, the Disney+ package usually edges it out. If you want a room-only booking with no tickets attached, the Florida rate is simpler.
No, if your dates or trip length do not fit
The Disney+ offer requires a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package inside those four date windows. A 3-night weekend trip, a 7-night stay in early November, or a room-only booking all fall outside it. In those cases the general-public 20% room discount is your offer.
What the Disney+ offer does not do
- It does not stack. You cannot combine it with the Passholder or Florida resident rate.
- It does not cover every room type. Disney’s fall and holiday offers exclude 3-bedroom villas, Moderate and Deluxe resort suites, the Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
- It does not last. Disney allocates a limited number of packages, and the popular resorts over Thanksgiving and mid-December go first.
- It does not include dining. Disney’s 2026 Free Dining promotion closed its booking window earlier this year and is not coming back for these dates.
The deadlines that actually decide your trip
Picking the right discount is the easy part. The part that trips families up is the calendar behind it: dining reservations open 60 days out, Lightning Lane selections open at 7 days (or 3 days for some guests), final payment is due 30 days before arrival, and online check-in opens at 60 days. Miss the 60-day dining window for a December trip and no discount will get you a table at Space 220.

Do I need Disney+ for everyone in my party?
No. One eligible Disney+ subscription in the travel party is enough to book the package. You will need to show proof of the subscription when the reservation is made.
Can I subscribe to Disney+ just to get the discount?
Yes, and for most families it pays for itself many times over on a single trip. Disney requires enrollment in the Disney+ Perks program, so subscribe and enroll before you book rather than after.
Is the free Park Hopper actually worth anything?
It is, if you plan to visit more than one park in a day — the classic case being an EPCOT dinner after a Magic Kingdom morning. If your family is a one-park-per-day family with young kids and afternoon naps, the Park Hopper is a nice extra but not the deciding factor.
What if my dates fall in the gap between the offer windows?
Then the general-public room discount, at up to 20% off for stays October 4 through December 24, 2026, is your offer. It covers a wider date range, including the weeks the Disney+ windows skip.
