Disney World Frozen ice castle Elsa

Princess Elsa will be spending the Winter at Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World this year.

Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom will be turned into the Frozen Ice Castle this Winter and it is sure to be an amazing site.  This is just one of the Walt Disney World Park Frozen surprises happening this year.

Disney announced plans to expand the presence of the popular ‘Frozen’ characters at the Orlando theme parks, starting with the Norway pavilion at Epcot. The ‘Maelstorm’ ride there will be replaced with a Frozen-themed ride that will “immerse guests in many of their favorite moments and music from the film,” Disney Parks chairman Todd Staggs said.

The pavilion will also include a “royal greeting location” where park-goers can meet popular princesses Anna and Elsa, Staggs added.

Over at the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella’s iconic castle will be getting the Frozen treatment as well. Disney released renderings that showed the castle with an icy look.

“Queen Elsa will use her powers to transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace every night starting in early November,” Staggs continued.

It has been rumored that the Frozen Castle will debut on November 5, 2014 so be ready for the a Frozen inspired Holiday.

The characters from Frozen will also be incorporated into the Christmas-themed parade later this year.

Staggs also promised “real snow” at Hollywood Studios, where Wandering Oaken’s will set up shop through the holiday season.
