Disney’s Mine Train Opens May 28, 2014.
Make sure you get your FastPass+ reservation now for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. You can contact a Pixie at Pixie Vacations to plan your FastPass ride reservations as part of your Disney World Vacation Package.

MyMagic+ – We will be getting our Disney MagicBands and trying out MyMagic+ to schedule our Disney rides, attractions and even the new Festival of Fantasy Parade. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade – This is also know as the 3 o’clock or daytime parade to most people. We already gotten a preview of this parade when we attended the Mouse Chat Fan Meet Up last week. It’s amazing. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – The first look will be May 1 at night so come along with us here to get all the news about this new Disney attraction. I am sure the lighting will be amazing at night in New Fantasyland and at the Mine Train attraction.

A Sneak Peek at Disney’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Attraction
Disney’s Mine Train Media Event
I am checked in at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and looking out the balcony at the animal filled savanna is really amazing. Thursday Disney will have the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train media event. It is scheduled for 7:30 PM – 9 PM at Disney’s New Fantasyland. I have not seen the mine train running yet, but would think we will be riding it Thursday night during this media preview.
So after breakfast I headed on over to the Magic Kingdom. Main Street USA is a buzz with excitement and for some reason everything has even more of an extra special touch as I look around. New Fantasyland of course is amazing. There are lots of little touches that have been added since New Fantsyland first opened, like the sign for Enchanted tales with Belle now has a cute animated Lumiere candelabra moving in the wind.
I listened for the roar of the seven dwarfs mine train but it was absent, but just for a moment. The ride is super quiet and smooth, and the mine carts swing out just enough on this coaster so the little ones with their parents get a little extra trill. To ride you need to be at least 38″ tall, so it is a ride aimed for kids and kids at heart. I would the ride is between The Great Goofini (Previously named Goofy’s Barn Stormer) and Big Thunder Mountain. So for kids that are not old enough or tall enough to ride Space Mountain, this entry level coaster, beautifully themed, is sure to be a hit.
It is sure to be a classic that kids are going to remember their first ride on for years to come.
