If so, these FAQs may help you when considering Pixie Vacations for your travel needs.
Q. Who is Pixie Vacations?
A. Pixie Vacations is a US based travel agency who specializes in holiday packages to Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland. For more information click here – Pixie Vacations
Q. Why should I book my Disney holiday through Pixie Vacations?
A. Pixie Vacations is an established travel agency specializing in Disney holidays. Our travel professionals are all Authorized Disney Vacation Planners and have completed Disney’s training programme for travel professionals.
Q. Tell me about the services that your vacation planners provide.
A. Our vacation planners will provide you with our exceptional complimentary concierge service. Your agent will remain with you during the planning, booking, and build up to your dream vacation. Our planners provide an itinerary planning service and will be delighted to take care of your Dining Reservations and Fastpass Plus reservations. You just tell your agent which experiences and dining you would like during your trip, and they will take care of the rest. Our planners can also help you with your My Disney Experience account and will be happy to recommend any experiences they think that you and your family may enjoy.
Q. If I book my holiday and a US special offer is released that works out cheaper for me, can I transfer to the new US deal?
A. Yes – no problem. Your vacation planner will check your reservation each time a new US Disney offer is released by Disney. If it works out cheaper for you, then they will move your reservation over to the new US offer and tell you how much money you just saved.
Q. Hmmm, this service sounds good, but expensive – are you sure it’s complimentary?
A. Yes – absolutely! You pay exactly the same price that you would pay if you booked directly with the US Disney website. You would, however, miss out on our concierge service if you booked your holiday that way.
Q. Can I add Disney Dining plans to my holiday?
A. Yes – your vacation planner will be happy to discuss dining plan options with you. We are able to offer 5 levels of dining plans, including the Quick Service Plan, Regular (or Plus) Plan, Deluxe Plan and the Premium and Platinum plans.
Q. Can I book UK Disney packages through Pixie Vacations?
A. While it is not possible for us to offer you UK Disney packages, we can offer you special offers that are available to our US clients. These are often different from UK offers and can provide different experiences and value.
Q. How do I know my money is safe?
A. Pixie Vacations does not take any money from you; your payments go to Disney directly for your holiday.
Q. Are Pixie Vacations a member of ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents)
A. As a US based travel agency, Pixie Vacations is not eligible for ABTA membership. Pixie Vacations is a member of both international travel organizations: IATA and CLIA.
Q. Do you have UK based vacation planners?
A. Adam is our UK based vacation planner, however, any of our vacation planners would be happy to work with you when planning your holiday.
Q. Can I pay in pounds?
A. Unfortunately, at this time, we are only able to accept payments in US Dollars. When you use a credit card it will convert to pounds.
Q. Pay in US Dollars – How do I do that?
A. Most UK Debit and Credit cards allow you to make payments in US Dollars. Most card providers and banks will levy a small charge for this service. Your card provider will be able to provide you with further information. There are several US Dollar pre-paid debit cards available in the UK, and these usually provide better value when paying for goods or services in US Dollars. These are not credit cards, and once you are in the US they can be used to withdraw cash at ATMs and to pay for goods in shops just like a UK debit card can in UK shops.
Q. Can you book my flights for me?
A. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to do this. Our vacation planners would be happy to help you find flights that suit your needs and budget, but you would need to book these yourself.
Q. I want to visit Universal Studios Orlando – Can you help me with that?
A. Yes, of course – our vacation planners would be happy to help you visit Universal and any of the other local attractions.
