Yes, you can buy a cell phone battery charger at home and bring it with you to the parks, but if you forget to pack it or if it’s dead that does you no good.  The Fuel Rod we like because it’s small and easy to carry with you.  Also it’s $30 for unlimited charges and we use it on multiple vacations to Disney World.
