Walt Disney World Resort contains over 100 different table service dining options. With so many table service dining options at Walt Disney World, how do you decide where to eat? We understand this blessing and curse since we often dine at Walt Disney World. How do you choose? We have created a list of the best Disney World table service restaurants to help guests decide which to enjoy.
Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants: What Makes a Restaurant Qualify as Table Service Dining?

So, what is table service dining at Walt Disney World? In most cases, this would be a traditional sit-down-style meal. In most cases, you are seated at a table, with a menu and a server helping you decide what you will eat for that meal. After the meal, you pay for your food at the table, leaving a tip.
However, buffets would count as table service dining at Walt Disney World with and without characters. Obviously, you must leave your table at the buffets to select your food choices. Despite that, buffets are considered table service dining.
There are table service dining options in all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios) at Disney Springs and at deluxe and moderate Disney hotels. Most importantly, a restaurant qualifies as a table service option if it accepts reservations.
Most lounges and bars on Walt Disney World property do not accept reservations but serve excellent table service food and beverages. We will not include those in our list of the best Disney World table service restaurants.
Also, just because a dining option is called table service does not mean guests should expect only upscale dining. While some Walt Disney World table service restaurants are signature-level, most are not. Places like Whispering Canyon Café serve as an example of this difference.
What Type of Food Can I Expect at Disney World Table Service Restaurants?

Filet Mignon at Topolino’s Terrace
Being a theme park resort, guests can expect various “American” style table service options and many other cuisine styles. There are steakhouses, seafood restaurants, burger places, pizza choices, and restaurants specializing in chicken. Regarding international cuisines, Walt Disney World guests enjoy Italian, Chinese, Japanese, British, German, French, Irish, African, American, Spanish, Latin, and other regional food.
In contrast to that vast array of choices, Walt Disney World Resort lacks some international cuisine. Walt Disney World does not have a dedicated Thai or Indian table service restaurant. Guests can find some Thai-influenced dishes on the property, but not a restaurant devoted to that style. Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge serves some Indian-inspired food. However, only eet by Maneet Chauhan, an excellent quick service restaurant, functions as an authentic Indian restaurant, though it is street food style.
Reservations for the Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants

Guests wanting to dine at a Walt Disney World table service restaurant should expect to have to make an advance dining reservation. In most cases, a reservation will be required. As experienced Walt Disney World guests know, advance dining reservations for the most popular table service restaurants at Walt Disney World disappear quickly when the booking window opens.
Reservations open 60 days in advance, starting officially at 6:00 a.m. Florida time. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can book dining reservations a few days earlier than guests not staying on-site, which limits the reservation slots open for the most popular restaurants at Walt Disney World.
Most Walt Disney World table service restaurants use the My Disney Experience for reservations. Also, you can call the Disney Dining phone reservation service at 1-407-939-5277. However, we recommend using the My Disney Experience system on your mobile device or computer to make reservations. In addition, many third-party table service restaurants use OpenTable for advanced dining reservations, in addition to the Walt Disney World system.
Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants: Hardest Advanced Dining Reservation to Acquire

Beef Tenderloin and Egg at Cinderella’s Royal Table
At the time of writing, several table service dining options fill to capacity around 60 days before. We understand deciding where you are eating two months in advance sounds odd. However, a Walt Disney World vacation requires more planning than an average vacation. The table service restaurants most likely to book up quickly include (but are not limited to):
- Cinderella’s Royal Table
- Space 220
- Space 220 Lounge
- ‘Ohana
- Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera
- Be Our Guest
- Beaches & Cream
- Chef Mickey’s
- Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
While these Walt Disney World table service restaurants are popular, several will not make our top ten. That does not mean these dining options should be avoided. Like most Walt Disney World restaurants, each offers something unique. In addition, some hard-to-get advanced dining reservations are challenging to acquire because the restaurant seats less than 100 people. This leads to those being hard to obtain.
Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants: Word of Advice
The list of hardest-to-acquire advanced dining reservations at Walt Disney World reinforces a truth about eating at the theme park resort. That truth is that many of Walt Disney World’s best restaurants reside outside the four theme parks!
Based on this, we suggest spending time outside the four Walt Disney World theme parks during your visit. We understand that your theme park tickets, hotel, and other travel costs cause you not to want to waste a moment. Nevertheless, this is a vacation. Relax and soak in some beautiful experiences outside the theme parks at Walt Disney World. This idea rings true with many excellent table service options at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and Disney Springs.
Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants: How We Narrowed It Down to Ten Restaurants

Garden Grill
With so many excellent table service dining options at Walt Disney World, how do you decide which ones are best? These should not be chosen arbitrarily. Thus, we created several guidelines to follow. The better a Walt Disney World table service restaurant did in terms of those criteria, the higher it ranked. As usual, some of our favorite Walt Disney World table service places fail to make the “Top Ten” list when we do this. The criteria we chose for this list of best Walt Disney World table service restaurants involved the following:
Value of Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurant

We weighed this criterion very heavily. With the cost of everything going up, including table service dining, we wanted guests to find good value for their vacation budget. We asked ourselves questions like: Do you get what you pay for? How much is character dining worth? Also, all-you-care-to-enjoy table service dining provides value, but what if your group is too picky to enjoy the Boma or Tusker House buffet with so many non-traditional buffet offerings?
We acknowledge that “worth” is subjective by nature. Still, some worth level can be determined when evaluating a $140 steak versus a $75 steak. We have strived to focus on the value of these restaurants for most groups.
For full disclosure, this determining factor hurt several signature restaurants more than we expected. For example, we love Takumi-Tei in the Japan pavilion at Epcot. Still, with Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs, Takumi-Tei’s excellent food with very high price points looks out of balance in terms of value. Nevertheless, that does not mean Morimoto Asia is inexpensive. Since this list focuses on table service dining at the world’s most popular theme park resort, expensive is a relative term. Still, some higher-priced table service dining options easily made our list.
When considering value, the atmosphere, service, and menu style must be considered. Sure, it is easy to compare portion sizes and flavor quality of similar entrées (which we have done many times). Still, a list of this magnitude demands looking at all factors, not just the food.
Food Quality at Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurants

Speaking of food quality, the food does matter for an enjoyable dining experience. Victoria & Albert’s at Disney Grand Floridian Resort took the top spot in this category. That should surprise no one since it is a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Victoria & Albert’s creates a magical dining experience with elevated cuisine. Despite that, you will not find Victoria & Albert’s in our “Top Ten” list. Despite the value category, it did not score well in the other categories, pulling it down to around 15-20 on our list. However, we wanted to ensure readers knew about this incredible table service restaurant.
Whether at the signature level or casual dining, the food quality at a Walt Disney World table service restaurant plays a significant role in the experience. Any restaurant on this list offers excellent food.
The Popularity of the Walt Disney World Table Service Restaurant

Stitch at ‘Ohana
Though not always true, the more popular a restaurant is, the more likely its quality is good. Sure, prominent exceptions exist to that rule. Still, that must be considered a variable for determining the best table service restaurant.
For example, Spice Road Table at Epcot is the least searched-for and least popular table service dining option. Though we enjoy dining there, Spice Road Table did not make our list. Yet, to make the list, why people are not searching for that dining reservation would need to be determined. In that case, guests say the food style does not appeal to them. The tapas-style meal also causes guests to avoid Spice Road Table.
Prix-Fixe Menu Variable

Clock Strikes Twelve at Cinderella’s Royal Table
Regarding non-traditional menu styles, guests often express their dislike of prix-fixe menus to us. Due to that, any restaurant with a prix-fixe menu was downgraded. Places like California Grill and Cinderella’s Royal Table received a lower overall ranking. Fortunately, guests can dine at the California Grill bar to avoid the prix-fixe menu there. Groups wanting to dine with princesses inside the castle at Magic Kingdom cannot avoid that menu style.
Disclaimers: Before We Get to the Top Ten List of Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants

Biergarten
We have a few disclaimers to make before we get to the “Top Ten” list. Since we have been writing about theme park resort restaurants for many years, we desire to explain our decision on why some trendy and popular Walt Disney World table service restaurants did not make the “Top Ten” list. We seek to do this before the list to eliminate as many questions as possible. In fact, we will be making these disclaimers based on previous readers’ and editors’ voiced concerns about other resources we have written about the best Walt Disney World table service restaurants. In other words, we want to explain why that trendy Walt Disney World restaurant seen in a viral video did not make the list.
First, if this list were up to twenty of the best table service dining options at Walt Disney World, most of the dining at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would be on this list. However, the higher price points of those restaurants hurt them enough in the ranking to drop them out of the “Top Ten.” However, we love Citricos and Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The food and service at both dining options exceed most restaurants. However, it was just not enough to balance out the price difference of other options on our list.
Space 220 Did Not Make Our List

Tuna Tartare at Space 220
The Space 220 Restaurant at Epcot remains a challenging advanced dining reservation to acquire. It offers a prix-fixe menu in the main dining area, and the Space 220 Lounge is also popular. Space 220 can be found in the World Discovery area of Epcot. This table-service dining location is near the Mission: Space attraction.
Diners enter Space 220 Restaurant next to the Mission: Space attraction at Epcot. After checking in with the outdoor host, guests receive a boarding pass and enter the indoor check-in area. When called, guests enter the “Stellarvator” experience to reach the theme park restaurant 220 miles in space using theme park magic. As you might have guessed, that is why the restaurant is named Space 220.
The atmosphere at Space 220 elevates the quality of this place for many guests. In addition to the “Stellarvator,” the theming in the dining area sets a solid tone. Also, the “windows to space” enable guests to view some engaging activities happening out there. Those who love the concepts of space and space travel should enjoy the atmosphere at this restaurant.
However, guests who did not enjoy Space 220 commented on the limitation of the prix-fixe menu. They also felt the price point was too high for the quality of the food received. Based on this, Space 220 did not make our “Top Ten” list.
Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants: The List
That concludes the explanation and disclaimer portion of this article. We will list the best Disney World table service restaurants, starting with number ten. These will be ranked from ten to number one.
#10 JIko – The Cooking Place
While we used to rank this table service restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge much higher, it is still one of the best dining options at Walt Disney World Resort. Jiko—The Cooking Place receives respect from most food critics. This restaurant blends African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine.
The menu contains solid plant-based options and a wide variety of steak, seafood, and chicken entrees. Jiko – The Cooking Place also offers unique flatbreads on the appetizer menu, like the Duck Confit and Honey-Raisin Flatbread.
If you want a well-seasoned and well-prepared steak, Jiko has you covered. We suggest ordering the Botswanan Seswaa Short Rib if you feel more adventurous. You will not lack flavor whatever you order at Jiko – The Cooking Place.
Sure, the flavor will not match standard theme park food. Jiko—The Cooking Place impresses guests with exquisite African flavors, so guests should expect unique and unexpected flavors.
In fairness, though we love Jiko – The Cooking Place, this restaurant ranks this high since it is located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Though Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, you feel far away from the theme parks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Before or after your meal at Jiko, you could walk around Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. In doing so, you might encounter some animals that Walt Disney World cares for.
Another reason we cheated a bit by placing Jiko this high because it connects to the other table service restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Boma—Flavors of Africa provides guests with arguably the best buffet at Walt Disney World. Also, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sanaa provides a fabulous dining experience. The Sanaa Bread Service makes a great reason to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge by itself.
These three table service options do not generate higher guest demand for reservations due to their location. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge can be a challenge to get to. You can only get there by car or by the Walt Disney World bus service, which many guests choose not to do. We suggest a trip to any of these three Animal Kingdom Lodge table service restaurants. This should change your perspective, in a good way, about theme park resort dining.
#9 Yachtsman Steakhouse
For guests looking for the best steak ounce for ounce value, we always suggest Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club. This steakhouse only serves evening meals, like Jiko- the Cooking Place, starting at 5:00 p.m. This signature dining location plays into the concept of an upscale New England-style steakhouse. Thus, seafood also plays a significant role here.
Nevertheless, we came to this place for the steak. Based on value and overall quality, we would choose this place over Le Cellier at Epcot, which has some excellent steak entrees. Yet, Yachtsman Steakhouse costs less for equal or better quality.
We enjoy the more relaxed environment. This table service restaurant is less busy than many of the table service options inside the theme parks.
We suggest ordering any steak options and the truffle mac & cheese. For a signature upgrade, add crab or lobster to your steak. Also, the lobster bisque gets high marks on the first course section of the menu.
#8 Cinderella’s Royal Table

While we would not prioritize this table service dining option at Magic Kingdom, many people do. This remains a very popular table service option at Walt Disney World. Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the hardest advanced dining reservations to acquire at Walt Disney World. Guests get to dine inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
This character dining meal qualifies as one of the most expensive table service restaurants at Walt Disney World. It costs nothing like Victoria & Albert’s or Takumi-Tei. However, guests should expect to pay $100 per meal when tax and tip are included. The meals are great, but guests should budget for this expense. Breakfast costs $74 for adults and $52 for children. Lunch and dinner cost $88 for adults and $52 for kids. The lunch and dinner menu features signature menu items like filet mignon.
For fans of the Disney Princesses, this dining option serves meals all day. All meals are prix fixe menus. The biggest positive involves dining inside the Magic Kingdom castle, where you meet five Disney princesses. The usual Disney princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table are Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, Snow White, and Aurora. However, these characters are subject to change, so guests should plan for that possibility.
This makes our list more about the experience than the food. The food qualifies as signature dining. Still, the meals themselves are not a good value compared to most options on this list.
For Cinderella’s Royal Table, guests must decide if they will dedicate the time and money for this experience. Though we enjoy the dining experience, the meal does not measure up to the price point, even with characters. Guests looking for Disney Princesses at a slightly lower price should consider Akershus Royal Banquet Table at Epcot.
#7 – California Grill
Like Cinderella’s Royal Table, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers signature dining with a prix-fixe menu. These restaurants would be higher on the list if the menu offered more variety and options. Nonetheless, California Grill offers upscale food and a beautiful view of the Magic Kingdom. In fact, you can watch the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks from this table service restaurant.
California Grill, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, has been one of the top table service restaurants at Walt Disney World for some time. This place offers excellent food and beverages, great views, and excellent service. Like Yachtsman Steakhouse and Jiko, California Grill opens for dinner only at 5:00 p.m.
This table service restaurant provides a beautiful view of the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom. California Grill is located near Magic Kingdom, with massive windows facing towards the fireworks each evening. Also, there is an outdoor observation deck for people dining at California Grill. Guests dining at the time of the fireworks or having eaten earlier in the day may go out on the patio for fireworks viewing. They even play music to match the fireworks display.
However, California Grill provides lovely food and beverages. Since reopening after 2020, California Grill has only used a prix fixe menu option. The three-course prix fixe meal costs $89 plus tax and tip for adults, and the children’s price is $39.
Current Entrees at One of the Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants
The current entrees on this prix-fixe menu include:
- Oak-grilled Filet of Beef -Grilled Jumbo Asparagus, Roasted Garlic Potato Purée, Cognac-Truffle Sauce
- Cast Iron-grilled Pork Tenderloin – Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Goat Cheese-Polenta Cake, Roasted Pork Belly, Stewed Greens, Zinfandel Glaze, Heirloom Apples
- Plancha-seared Sea Scallops – White Soy-Miso-marinated Scallops, Braised Bok Choy, Glazed Daikon, Black Garlic Brussels Sprouts, Edamame Purée, Matsutake-White Soy-Shoyu Beurre Blanc
- Wagyu Strip Loin – Chicken Ròu T?ng, Dumpling, Poached Quali Egg, Garniture Vegetables (Available for additional surcharge of $47)
- Domestic Lamb – English Peas, Marinated Artichokes, Vegetable Samosa, Golden Hummus, Date Gel, Lemon-Pepper Jus
- Potato Pierogi – Roasted Mushrooms, Pickled Ramps, Onion Rings, Snow Peas, Ramp Beurre Blanc
- Seared Market Fish, Poached White Asparagus, Fava Beans, White Asparagus Purée, Warm Lentil Salad, and Mandarin Orange Vinaigrette.
Guests who want fine dining and a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks while avoiding the crowds should consider California Grill.
California Grill also provides a lounge area. You can attempt to walk up to get a spot there. You do not have to order the prix fixe menu at the lounge. Still, those spots are minimal as the evening moves on.
#6 Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

Full Irish Breakfast at Raglan Road (Promotional Photo)
Disney Springs at Walt Disney World offers some of the best combinations of quality food and value on the property. Since a majority of the restaurants at Disney Springs are third-party and not Disney-owned, this leads to more competition regarding dining. This also leads to restaurants leaving and new ones replacing them. Nevertheless, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant has survived many changes at Disney Springs. In fact, Raglan Road has thrived during these many years.
This Irish-themed restaurant prides itself on live music and Irish dancers. The extensive menu here offers something for everyone. Also, one of the better weekend brunch menus at Walt Disney World can be enjoyed here. Disney Springs has many weekend brunch options, so the standards are high.
Guests who enjoy the concept of dinner and a show will find the atmosphere at Raglan Road perfect in the evening. However, dining at Raglan Road in the evening and at weekends will not be a romantic meal. The evening will be entertaining but possibly loud with music and dancing. Though maybe not romantic, the evening will be fun and worth your time.
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant adjusts its menu often. Keeping up with the subtle changes can be challenging. Still, the expected Irish standards can be found here. In addition, we constantly recommend the chicken-based entrees and salads at Raglan Road. The use of Bell and Evans chicken breasts gives these entrées significant advantages. The chicken is then well prepared for your enjoyment.
Raglan Road provides a fantastic evening of fun and food. Of course, this style of table service restaurant at Walt Disney World involves some incredible drinks and a great bar. If you are looking for a great entertaining night out, Raglan Road meets that desire. We suggest making an advance dining reservation for this place. It will fill up with reservations on busy evenings and weekends. Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant offers outdoor seating with live music at night and two outdoor bars where guests can grab a beverage.
#5 Morimoto Asia
Guests will find Morimoto Asia across the Disney Springs pathway from Raglan Road. This Asian restaurant builds off the fame and skill of Iron Chef Morimoto.
Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs provides an upscale Asian dining experience at a lower price point than places like Takumi-Tei at Epcot. One of the original Iron Chefs, Masaharu Morimoto, serves as the celebrity chef for this table service restaurant. Iron Chef Morimoto makes appearances and hosts special events at Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. Morimoto Asia serves Japanese, Chinese, and Korean menu items.
In addition to the excellent food and beverages at Morimoto Asia, the beautiful setting of this two-story dining facility aids in the positive experience. Guests walking in realize this will not be an everyday dining experience at Morimoto Asia.
Though this restaurant costs a bit more than other options in Disney Springs, it is well worth it. This restaurant could compete in almost any restaurant market. Walt Disney World guests benefit from the high-end celebrity chef-style restaurant at Disney Springs.
The service will be excellent at Morimoto Asia. Based on our trips to Morimoto Asia, we have never found anything we disliked on the menu. Guests wanting the high-end “Omakase” meal like at Takumi-Tei, Morimoto Asia offers that. On rare occasions, Iron Chef Morimoto himself prepares that style of meal.
The lunch menu offers a limited but more cost-effective version of the Morimoto Asia dinner menu. We recommend ordering the Morimoto Spare Ribs, which are equal to or better than any other at Walt Disney World.
The Peking Duck (for two) also earns high reviews. Morimoto Asia’s menu offers noodle and rice bowls, sushi, various vegetarian Asian dishes, and a full selection of beverages. The famous Iron Chef-winning “Buri-Bop” also makes a great choice, with chefs coming out to make the meal right in front of you in a hot clay pot. If you want to taste a dish Masaharu Morimoto created on the spot to win Iron Chef, the “Buri-Bop” should be at the top of your list. For those desiring upscale Asian food, Morimoto Asia has many menu items for guests to enjoy and explore.
#4 The Boathouse Restaurant at Disney Springs
Disney Springs presents guests with over 20 table service restaurants. The Boathouse Orlando at Disney Springs offers something for almost all guests. At this table service restaurant, guests can enjoy quality steaks at a slightly lower price than the high-end dining options at Walt Disney World. In addition, seafood of all varieties can be found on the menu.
Are you looking for something more relaxing? The Boathouse Orlando offers an indoor and outdoor bar with some of the best drinks on the property. The Filet Mignon Sliders earn rave reviews from guests, even with the changes made to them in recent years. Did we mention the rolls?
For many Walt Disney World guests, The Boathouse is a must-do for every trip. The Boathouse is considered one of the best seafood restaurants in the Orlando area. The service at The Boathouse matches or exceeds almost every dining option on Walt Disney World property. In fact, this restaurant does most things well. The Boathouse is run by the well-respected Gibsons Restaurant Group, which is internationally celebrated for its exceptional food and extraordinary service.
Since several Gibsons Restaurant Group restaurants specialize in high-end steak, a good steak will be easy to find at The Boathouse. If you enjoy a great surf and turf-style meal, Boathouse makes a good choice at Disney Springs.
On previous trips here, we enjoyed oysters at The Boathouse. The raw bar options bring excellent quality for a restaurant not located on a beach. The freshness and variety cause many guests to insist they only order oysters at The Boathouse and no other places in the Orlando area.
Finally, The Boathouse offers a great weekend brunch option. In addition to the great food, you can enjoy entertainment and music at these events. Though this table service restaurant does not match the top signature dining at Walt Disney World, when you calculate the value and options, Boathouse should be on most guests’ short list of table service must-do restaurants.
#3 ‘Ohana
The remaining three Walt Disney World restaurants on our list are among the toughest to acquire advanced dining reservations for. Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort continues to be very popular. The advanced dining reservation slots go fast at the 60-day mark. The dining experience and ‘Ohana’s reputation drive the demand to dine here.
Ohana offers a character breakfast. It also serves dinner (without characters) starting around 3:30 p.m. Both meals are served all you care to enjoy family style with skillets of food. The breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch happens each morning at ‘Ohana. Ohana makes an excellent place for meeting characters while enjoying breakfast. Based on Disney’s Polynesian Resort being so close to Magic Kingdom, ‘Ohana breakfast also makes a good option before going to Magic Kingdom. Also, if you can get a late breakfast reservation, this can be a meal break from the Magic Kingdom.
This family-style breakfast allows guests to get photos and autographs from Disney characters. The breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, potatoes, Stitch and Mickey waffles, ham with pineapple, fresh fruits, and assorted bread. We enjoyed the vegan options here as much as the non-vegan meal.

Mickey at Ohana Restaurant
One huge plus of the ‘Ohana breakfast is that anyone can find something they enjoy eating. The current price of $53 for adults and $33 for children aged three to nine matches most breakfast character dining at Walt Disney World Resort.
The dinner experience does not involve characters and costs more. This all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner features Hawaiian-flavored specialties, including our famous ?Ohana Noodles. Though this dinner will cost you more than breakfast, the price matches many all you care to enjoy dinner options in terms of price at $65/adult.
The meal consists of a mixed green salad, ‘Ohana Bread, honey-coriander chicken wings, pork dumplings, teriyaki beef, peel-n-eat shrimp, grilled chicken with chimichurri sauce, ‘Ohana noodles, roasted seasonal vegetables, and ‘Ohana bread pudding a la mode.
The Walt Disney World webpage for ‘Ohana tells guests that they can “Unwind in a dining room brimming with tikis and tropical greenery as you savor delicious dishes like grilled teriyaki beef, spicy peel-n-eat shrimp, grilled chicken and ?Ohana Noodles. Plus, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with pineapple coconut bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. It’s a tantalizing taste of the South Pacific!”
Ohana invites guests to enjoy some Polynesian hospitality. The views from the Polynesian Resort enhance the dining experience here. If you get lucky at night, you might even get a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Of course, those looking for a fireworks view should take a short walk to the Island Tower to Wailulu Bar & Grill. Guests dining at ‘Ohana could walk to the Island Tower after their all-you-care-to-eat meal to finish the evening at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.
#2 Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’

Chicken Fried Steak from Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin”
Guests dining at Disney Springs looking for comfort food and larger portions should consider Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’. The celebrity chef’s table service restaurant at Walt Disney World has been popular since it opened in 2016.
As expected, the menu features fried chicken with Chef Art Smith’s name on it. The menu features fried chicken brined for 24 hours in buttermilk and hand-breaded. The extra time creates some of the best fried chicken you have ever enjoyed. However, many of us also enjoy the non-chicken-based menu items at Homecomin’.
It is also known for its moonshine and Southern-style weekend brunch. Other menu highlights include the Church Lady Deviled Eggs, Hummingbird Cake, Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, and Chicken Fried Steak. Momma’s Mac and Cheese ranks as the best mac and cheese on Walt Disney World property.
Moonshine at One of the Best Disney World Table Service Restaurants

Shine Flight
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ also serves some excellent moonshine. Five varieties of these alcoholic beverages are served at your table or the indoor and outdoor bar. You can even order a moonshine flight. Please share this with some friends if you order it. The patio area at Homecomin’ creates a beautiful environment for guests. The views and service elevate this restaurant to a new level.
When you balance price point, food quality, and service, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ earns this spot on our list. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ will have something for you even if you dislike fried chicken and southern comfort food.
#1 Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera (Best Disney World Table Service Restaurant)
Disney’s Riviera Resort offers some of the best dining options at Walt Disney World. Topolino’s Terrace on the tenth floor of Disney’s Riviera Resort provides some of the best food around.
Topolino’s Terrace opened in 2019. This signature dining location remains popular with many Walt Disney World visitors. Though the demand for signature dining in the evening has lessened, the character breakfast may have become more popular.

Topolino’s Terrace
The “Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends” enchants guests with top-quality breakfast pastries, entrees, and sides. Regarding food quality, the breakfast at Topolino’s stands out as the best at Walt Disney World.

Mickey at Topolino’s Terrace
Combining unmatched service and unique character interaction, Topolino’s Terrace quickly became many people’s favorite breakfast on the property. With a similar price ($52/adult) to most character breakfasts at Walt Disney World, we love this breakfast option.
Dinner at Topolino’s Terrace

Creme Brulee Topolino’s Terrace
In the evening, Topolino’s Terrace becomes a more elegant dining experience. This signature dinner experience features elevated French—and Italian-inspired cuisine. There will not be Disney characters in the evening. A basic dress code will be enforced, so do not try to walk in wearing flip-flop shoes and a tank top or bathing suit. We usually suggest that men wear a shirt with a collar for dining here. We sometimes see men in suits dining at the bar at Topolino’s Terrace.
The food quality demonstrates why this place is in such demand. We suggest the Ricotta appetizer. For entrees, we suggest the Classic Sole Meunière, Rigatoni, and Filet Mignon.
Topolino’s Terrace easily earns the status of best Disney World table service restaurant. Compared to other high-end signature dining, you can enjoy an equal or close to equal meal for less money. Now, do not expect this to be cheap. The entrées we suggested range from $40 to $62. However, Topolino’s Terrace offers more with California Grill costing basically $100 or more for the full prix fixe menu. Victoria & Albert’s, the most expensive and best food quality and service at Walt Disney World, costs many times more than Topolino’s Terrace. Victoria & Albert is much better, but most guests cannot afford that option. Topolino’s Terrace provides a fabulous dining experience that many guests can enjoy.
