Let’s get into some of the lesser know activities or activities that I think most Disney Cruise Line guests might miss on the island.
Snorkeling Lagoon
The Snorkeling Lagoon at Castaway Cay is a nice way for the entire family to enjoy the Caribbean clear blue waters and see all sorts of tropical fish. Castaway Cay has snorkeling for all skill levels. The 15 acres snorkeling paradise sits above a living reef and be sure to keep an eye out for Mickey Mouse and other treasures.
Cookies BBQ
When lunch time approaches make your way to Cookies BBQ. This delightful outdoor restaurant dishes up burgers and BBQ chicken and ribs, grilled island style. Best of all dining on Castaway Cay is included in your Disney Cruise Vacation Package. Cookies BBQ is just steps away from the Castaway Family Beach and Cookies BBQ II is right next to the Adult beach. You need to get a refreshing softserve ice cream when you walk by Cookies. Castaway ray’s stingray adventure
Experience an up close encounter with stingrays at Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure. This is a popular shore excursion on Castaway Cay, Disney’s Private island paradise. Just head for the Stingray Hut for the experience of a lifetime. Your friendly guide will be on hand as you get up close and personal during a feeding session using specially designed feeding trays. The Stingrays take the food right out of the palm of your hand and you can even pet these amazing animals as they glide by.
