Hi! My name is Barbie (yep, really.) I’ve been a Disney Girl since The Wonderful World of Color … became in color!
I grew up with Disneyland — as a toddler, a teen, a parent and everything in-between. I fell in love with Walt Disney World when my son became a Cast Member. What a great reason to visit again and again! Tinkerbell flew right over my head and I even got a sprinkle of pixie dust from The Fairy Godmother. My favorite rides are The Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest, as well as my very first favorites, Peter Pan’s Flight and the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk through. One of my favorite memories is when the train stopped at the Disney Dreams Come True Parade, there I was, face to face with not only Tink and Ms. Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boo, but Flora, Flauna and Meriwhether, and The Blue Fairy Herself! As you can see, the real gift of Disney is to be a kid again, and to wish, to believe, and to see and feel your dreams come true.
Walt Disney is my hero. He taught me to dream big and never give up, to value (and enjoy) imagination and creativity, and to become a Goodwill Ambassador to the world. So far I have photographed, journaled and scrapbooked 47 states and 16 countries, and counting.
