A favorite vacation

My passion for travel began with my first trip to Walt Disney World as a freshman in high school, where Epcot’s World Showcase sparked my fascination with exploring different countries, cultures, and stories. That curiosity has continued to shape the way I travel today—from exploring Japan through a National Geographic/Adventures by Disney experience to visiting Germany’s storybook villages, traveling to Australia to interact with koalas, and exploring Romania and Dracula’s Castle. Each journey has given me the opportunity to experience more than just a destination—it has allowed me to learn about its history, people, traditions, and culture firsthand.

That same curiosity is what I bring to every vacation I plan for my clients. I believe the most memorable travel experiences come from truly connecting with a destination, whether that means discovering the cultures represented around Epcot’s World Showcase, sailing with Disney Cruise Line, wandering through a European village, or checking a once-in-a-lifetime experience off your bucket list. My own travels give me firsthand perspective and stories to share, helping me create thoughtfully planned vacations that are not only magical, but meaningful and memorable.

A little about me

I live in Kansas with my husband and our three children, Breanna, Tyler, and Hayley. Over the past 16 years, my family and my experiences have shaped a deep passion for helping families travel with confidence, especially when navigating autism, mobility needs, food allergies, and other unique considerations. Tyler and his different abilities have taught me to look at travel through a different lens—from thinking creatively about packing and preparing to finding ways for everyone to fully experience and enjoy a vacation. Those experiences have given me firsthand insight into the importance of planning for both the expected and the unexpected.

For more than 13 years, I have also been a Special Olympics coach, where I have the privilege of encouraging my athletes both on and off the field. I travel with our team of more than 150 athletes to tournaments and competitions, often involving overnight stays, which has given me even more experience navigating the logistics and unique challenges of group travel. These experiences have reinforced my belief that with thoughtful planning, the right resources, and a little flexibility, travel can be an incredible experience for everyone.
